On behalf of Bucky’s incredible staff, THANK YOU friends, family and Lake Country for the incredible support for have given us over the last two years! It is Bucky’s 2 year anniversary today! How time flies!!! A few years ago, Sharlene Konkel and I had a mere vision of owning a Pub & Grill that would be family oriented (much like the TV show Cheers) but centered around a melting pot of great character people (employee & customer alike) on a lake with great food, music, sports and fun. Our goal was to have a business that would make a positive difference in people’s everyday lives through fun and laughter!! You all have made our dream come true and we are incredibly grateful beyond words!!!! Life is short. Time is so valuable. It is extremely humbling to throw a party everyday and have people come play with us!! Very special thank you to the employees past and present that battled in the trenches with us. With growth comes massive challenges and stress. Special thanks to our first hires, Timmy and James Carlson for the loyalty and sticking with us from day one. Katie Thomas, as well, for supporting our vision from the start and being there at critical times in the beginning. Gregg Godfrey & Darren Godfrey, Chad Proulx, Art Konkel, Tim Gilboy, Ellen Galezewski, Jan F. Talaga, Mike Krug, Peter Kaflas, Dede Bucholtz & Dan Bucholtz & Jeff Bucholtz , we probably would not have opened or started if it wasn’t for you guys and you know how much we appreciate you. Cheri Cheryl Mee Konkel, Tanner Musgrove & Michelle Bucholtz for always being there for Ty & Trevor when emergencies arise. Others that have had faith, patience and put a ton of hard work since the near the beginning, thus playing a significant role in the growth of Bucky’s including Tiffany Smith, Melissa Losiniecki, Al Andrews, Jessica Thielen, Melissa Richter, Celia Rodriguez, Stephanie Naylor, Robin Thompson, Kayla Marie Steinhauer, Tanya with JukeBox Larry Vending Co., Alyssia Dominguez, Devin Piehl & AV Tom. We would not be where we are without you and the extra you put in to make Bucky’s such a special place to work and play. Jim Cadd & Carolyn Cadd, thank you for the support and confidence in Bucky’s. It means so much to all of us and our families. You allow us to put make a positive difference in people’s lives everyday! To the rest of my current staff that just survived the beating and pain that 400% overnight growth does to an employee, ( Kristy Williams, Melissa Mfh, Morgan Lyn, Sean Kennedy, Evan Paul, Brooke Martin, Alyssa Jacobsen, Crystal Rehmal, Alicia Voell, Leah Albert, James Podobnik, Erich Dobbratz, Kurt Kangas, Ben, Nate, Tom Voell, Auri Sanchez, Michelle Bucholtz, Breezy Bryanna Bucholtz, Wendy Berlik and Laurel Brinkman ) We are so proud of this staff! Thank you so much for the high character, incredible work ethic and sticking with us while we grow!!! Joe Sergi, you are a man of your word, you and your kitchen crew dominated since you took over!! Thank you for stepping in the midst of battle, overcoming some incredible challenges and then taking the kitchen to yet another level. We are all excited and looking forward to what is next as we take yet another step forward in incredible food. As for all of our loyal customers from Okauchee, Lake Country and beyond, all of us from Bucky’s thank you from the bottom of our heart for your support. You not only made our dream come true, you make coming to work a blessing everyday for all of us. We have all had some very fun times and made great friends. You all have allowed Bucky’s to be a place that is warm and welcoming to everyone. I hope you all take great pride in Bucky’s growth as well. We couldn’t have done it without many of you and you know who you are!!! You have stuck by us through growth and change. The Bucky’s family grows bigger, but we are committed to always being a place that at our core is welcoming, friendly and a good time filled with good people looking to have a good time. Thank you all!!! For those customers whom actually read through this whole novel, come join Ray Bucholtz, Sharlene Konkel and the rest of the Bucky’s crew as we are celebrating YOU next Saturday, September 20th with free drinks from 7pm to 8pm for everyone!!!
