On behalf of Steve, myself and the entire 3rd Degree Training team we are very proud and excited to present to you 3rd Degree Helping Hand INC! This is our new not for profit organization. Over the past number of years we have really jumped behind supporting other charities. Together we raised and unbelievable amount of money in a short 3 years but we never really fully knew where the money we raised was being spent. In December of 2012 we adopted a 3rd Degree christmas family and in only 1 day managed to raise $3100.00!! With this money we helped a fellow 3rd Degree member and her family. Colleen McCabe was working 3 jobs just to get by as her mother was battling cancer and fighting for her life. Together we were able to pay their bills, (electric, heat, credit cards, give them gas cards, grocery vouchers ext) this was a huge stress relief for them and also allowed Colleen to take some time off to spend with her mother. Irene sadly passed away in March of 2013, but Colleen attributes the generosity of all the 3rd Degree members on prolonging her life. That is what the 3rd Degree Help Hand Inc is all about. Helping families on the front line. Cancer and illness take enough away with health it should not take away someones finical stability. Together 3rd Degree Training and its members are a force to be reckoned with. We are very excited to start fundraising with you all!!
