On behalf of the Divya Jyoti Association of New York, it gives me great pleasure to inform you of this year’s Grand Diwali Motorcade 10-18-14 the parade starts at Liberty Avenue and 133rd Street, On Saturday, October 18th, 2014 @ 5:30pm. (All vehicles will assemble by 4:30pm). The program begins with a Havan ceremony at 3:00pm at The Arya Spiritual Center Grounds 104-20 133 Street Richmond Hill NY 11419 dedicated to The Goddess of Light Lakshmi all are invited to participate. After the parade there will be a cultural presentation at 7:30PM. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed vehicles! 1st Prize $1001.00, 2nd Prize $501.00 3rd Prize $301.00 (first prize will also win a Free TV Appearance on The Let’s Talk with Lakshmee TV Show aired in 7 States , Guyana and on the world wide web ) Motorcades are judged on Creativity, Originality and Relevance to Diwali.
