On behalf of the Onteora Alumni Association Board, I want to - TopicsExpress

On behalf of the Onteora Alumni Association Board, I want to congratulate the 2014 Onteora Scout Reservation Staff on what has clearly been a successful and enjoyed implementation of the new ATV and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs at camp. It is awesome that all 11 troops that attended Week 1 of camp this year decided to register to return to Onteora in 2015. Week 2 has as well been conducted with plenary success, and I predict that the 2014 staff shall achieve intense success as well for Weeks 3, 4 and 5. The Onteora Alumni Association is committed to enabling the Onteora Scout Reservation Staff to achieve even greater success in the future, and we are proud to have helped the 2014 staff by, among many things, contributing funds and work hours to help enable the ATV and STEM programs to be successfully implemented. As a symbol of our unity with the 2014 staff, attached to this post is an image of the three patches issued for Onteora programs in 1964, 50 years before the current year, and as well a year when many of our members were at camp. The teepee patch at the top-right is the main patch that was issued for the summer of 50 years ago, the 1964 Bluenose patch for winter camping at Onteora is to the top-left, and the 1964 jacket patch was jointly issued for Onteora and Camp Wauwepex. Members of the Onteora community who were active in 1964, or in the 60s in general, or for that matter in the 50s, 70s, 80s, 90s, or 2000s are ready to empower Onteora with further success, and we are collectively impressed with the efforts of the 2014 staff.
