On behalf of us all here at the 23 Foundation, we wish Ann Gregory a very happy belated birthday. Ann Gregory, was 62 on the 2nd November 2014. Sadly, Ann has a rare neurodegenerative condition called Perry Syndrome and has been sick in hospital for 3 weeks. She is a massive LFC fan and goes to the home games when shes well enough. Perry syndrome is a progressive brain disease that is characterized by four major features: a pattern of movement abnormalities known as parkinsonism, psychiatric changes, weight loss, and abnormally slow breathing (hypoventilation). These signs and symptoms typically appear in a persons forties or fifties. Perry syndrome only affects around 50 people in the world. She was diagnosed in 2012. Louise Gregory, Anns daughter made the birthday even more special as Jamie Carragher sent Ann a signed photo as well (arranged by Louise). YNWA, Ann many happy returns. 23 Foundation
