On being single: People are like why dont you try internet dating oh, youll find someone Insert awkward silence and pity stares. In my mind- I hear more complaints from women about their husbands, or kids, or situation than I do of happy ever afters. Sure, I want that Channing Tatum movie-happy ending, who doesnt, but thats not reality. Reality is getting to train 6-7 days a week, doing what I want, when I want, travelling overseas to race, getting to look in the mirror and tell myself damn girl, choosing to be a tight ass with my money because I dont want to and I dont really have to work more than 24 hours a week... MY reality isnt as bad as what you think it is because I am single. So before you (perhaps unintentionally) make someone else feel awkward for pitying them because they dont have something that you deem a necessity to happiness, maybe ask them what they want first. Just sayn.
