On facebook I love to see the cute baby pics, pet pics and family photos of all friends and family. I also enjoy reading your silly comments, funny jokes and sometimes meaningless status updates, this is all cool, fine and dandy. However when a friend shares a post that is based on a political opinion, real news or propaganda....they turn their facebook wall into a blog or a website propagating what they post and in my opinion at that particular moment and for that particular post they lose the let it go type friendly immunity and should be subject to healthy criticism and interrogation to justify or elaborate on their post. There is a lot of useless and incorrect material circulating on facebook which is often shared without a second thought. Indiscriminate sharing, liking or even ignoring such posts is taking us far from a smart and intellectually healthy internet based virtual community. Your thoughts please........
