On how brahmean bandhus play the language game: ~ The politics of Brahmin is dynamic as against his ideology of eternalism or sanatanism. It is not possible to categorise him on basis of Nirguna or Saguna . One of the Brahmin Hindi marathi poet Muktibodh describes Nirgunas as Dalit discourse while Saguna cult as Uppercaste in his essay .(debateonline.in/131112/) .But during seventh century it was opposite . One was the greatest enemy of lower castes Adi Shankara was preaching Nirguna. Similarly none of language can be described as dalit . Uppercaste exercise hegemony over every languages . For example 90% of Hindi poets are Brahmins. I do not think there is different scenario in Marathi. Few dalit writers had been awarded sahitya academy or gyanpitha ( this year, too it went to a Bhumihar Brahmin Kedar Nath Singh) . If there is a brahmin english then there are brahmin hindi , brahmin tamil , brahmin marathi too. Every language is casted . This is not the case with English only . Bengali has almost no dalit writer. It is stuffed with Thakurs, Chatterjees , Banerjees, Roys and Mukherjees. Brahmin resorts to dualism . On on hand he is comprador of occident , on other hand he wields control over regional national languages . British had many william Jones, Princeps et al for a Macaulay.~ शाक्यमुनि चंडाल
