On justifying the demands of bi-vocational ministry folks will say, Paul was a tentmaker. True. But he wasnt a pastor. A different role demands a different approach. Not only does bi-vocational ministry take its toll on the emotions and body and family and....it also takes its toll on the spirit...the desire to give ones self wholly to the Lord yet the need to support ones self and family creates spiritual-disonance...the constant desire to be faithful to both and the constant coming up short that is inevitable.
