On last evening, I had a chance to watch a show called BRING IT. It was about young teenage girls dancing and competing in various competitions. I was truly upset of course and did not watch it all but the little I did watch wasnt so good. Let me clarify, the energy and dance routines from the young ladies were awesome, but the actions of their parents and the dance instructor wasnt so good. The language that was being used and their actions in front of those girls-WELL-let me say it this way-they did not set a good example in the presence of those young teenage girls. Now the point to this post this morning, when I watch the news, and I see on television the things that our kids are doing really bothers me. I need for you to just pause today and ask yourself- AM I SETTING A GOOD EXAMPLE?? AM I OFFERING A SOLUTION OR AM I A PART OF THE PROBLEM?? The only way we can lead our children is BE THE EXAMPLE AND BE THAT ROLE MODEL for our children. Thats why I love STEVE HARVEY, TOM JOYNER, and many others THEY LEAD BY EXAMPLE..Steve and his mentoring camp for young boys..Tom Joyner took care of the young lady that many laughed at because of her speech..but boom SHE GRADUATED!! No I have no biological kids, BUT I have embraced so many to encourage them to keep moving forward with a positive attitude (including my own nieces, nephews, cousins). Ok I just felt like sharing my feelings this morning! Have a good day fbook family!
