On limb here, and I am confident this will bite me in the ass. But its time to take stock. Take a good look at this. This is what happens when democracy turns its back. This is also part of a government that values its own control, disregarding its people. Is Israel justified to defend itself? Yes. If Canada or Mexicos government launched an attack against the US we would respond. [see WW2, horrific]. Hamas is making choices without regard for the protection of their citizens. [see august 2005 on Israels deconstruction of occupation in Gaza and the results]. Leadership in government must always be for the people, not personal gain. Think it cant happen here? Stay cozy and aloof. This is the reality that we have not been exposed to since the civil war. Its time we re-engage and not retract. In the end, its the blood of the innocent that gets spilled for the sake if the few in power. The media in our country hate the ugly truth. The rest of the world faces it.
