On many of these posts from people seeking or selling or giving away or asking for a free pet,mostly cats and dogs, there are cautionary posts made by others either admonishing them for selling an animal, giving away an animal, seeking a free animal, selling too cheap, too high and on and on...this is a very condescending attitude. This behaviour perpetuates a negative vibe and is not necessary. No one can ever know the circumstance of anothers experience. We need to give these people the courtesy of making their own decisions about what to do with, or where to look for a pet. Pet ownership is not just for the wealthy. Love goes a long way. I would rather see a dog with fleas sitting on a street corner with its homeless owner than seeing that same animal, flea free, sitting on concrete slab behind a chain link fence with sad sad eyes, in a rescue or spca or pound, waiting for someone to come and get him and love him. Lets get some perspective people.
