On midnight 14th February, 2015, INEC Chairman says, After the successful conduct of the presidential election, the candidate of All Progressive Congress polled xxxxxxxxxx in all the state of the federation while Peoples Democratic Partys candidate equally polled xxxxxxxxxx. On the power confired on me by the constitution of federal republic of Nigeria, i hereby declare Goodluck Jonathan the winner of the election having got highest vote cast & meet 2/3 votes constitional requirement in 36 states of the federation. For this reason, the current President who is equally the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party has been given the mandate to rule till 2019. This will be replical issue come in the next election. While President Jonathan was declared winner, Aggressive Peoples Congress and Ahmed Private Companys boys and supporters begin to shed crocodile tear saying election was manipulated to favor Jonathan. They queried Jonathans victory and declared that Buhari was more popular than him before the election. They forgot to know that while many of APC supporters were raking and shouting change, change on Facebook, President Jonathan was silently doing his political assignment under ground. We dont need old cargo, one that has ultilsed his time and still planning to come back. We dont need one that is not ready to give up and hand over the baton of leadership to younger once when he is suppose to stand as an adviser and elder statesman. If Buhari doesnt want to retire, Nigerian voters shall send him to compulsory retirement come February 2019. Up PDP, POWER TO THE PEOPLE.
