On my FIFTH support call with CenturyLink DSL. My service keeps getting optimized down to half the speed Im paying for, even though the tech says theres no problem with line quality. Apparently this is a common practice...customers get summarily downgraded without notice, not getting what theyre paying for. What a ripoff. Why has no one started a class action lawsuit about this crap? Ive been told the last few times I called that theyd make my speed permanent, but it was a lie. Two days later it goes back down to half. Watch your DSL speeds, folks! Test often and demand a refund if theyre ripping you off too. spdtst-dlls.tx.centurylink.net/
