On my first visit to a Buddhist Temple, I noticed the absence of crosses, depictions of flogging and weeping virgins. Amid bright colours and flowers was a golden statue of Buddha. He was born, lived and died of old age. Buddha was not divine, so theres nothing in Buddhism to fight or die over, just a simple message: We inherit our good and bad actions. In this video, you can see this motto: When the heart is good, everything else is good. As it has no deity, Buddhism is not a religion. Its a way of life:
