On my flight back from the Yukon , a couple ladies were chatting bout the island and were trying to spell Nanaimo , I told them how to say it for real Snuneymuxw , they looked not amused , one asked where I was from , I m from a little town called Duncan which they built on my homeland of Cowichan , I got a strange look and they walked away , hmmm suppose to be proud of where you really come from right and Im proud of it , have a great day everyone , God bless !
