On my heart today: So often I feel sorry for myself for various reasons, but when I put self to the side I see a clearer picture. It is not always easy working two jobs and having difficulty with finances, but I had a coworker at my second job tell me they felt God placed me there for them because I have ministered to and encouraged them. God allows us to struggle at times not for our destruction, but so we can be His tool of ministry in someone elses life. Think of Joseph in the Bible. His brothers sold him into slavery but God had a purpose for that journey in Josephs life. Be willing to see beyond yourself. How blessed it is to let the Lord use you in ministry wherever you may be.
