On my mind today is celebration. Counting my blessings and being - TopicsExpress

On my mind today is celebration. Counting my blessings and being doubly inspired. My third son, who last year graduated with a first class degree in electrical and electronics engineering with professional development from Brunel University london, also undertook rather a very hard task, and made a success of it. He took to boxing, and coaching as a community service. But last month he decided to go into the rings in the IBA world championships in the UK. The result, a unanimous decision in favour of the young engineer who works for Ford motors in the Uk. When he first sought my opinion about the fight, I thought of boxing greats, those who made and are still making success of boxing today. I said son yes you can and he did. Winning your very first fight, on the first attempt can be exhilarating. Reminded me of when I won my first silver medal in the men`s shot put event in 1978 during the Imo state sports festival and subsequent two other medals in weightlifting and judo. I salute the courage and sagacity of the young lad, Chiedozie and wish him many more successes in his future engagements. I post here timeline photos from that event. Also a musical video performance of my second son Chika, doing his Michael Jackson flicks Please enjoy.
