On my morning constitutional I find myself walking against a long line of traffic moving slowly through a construction zone. I see, in quick succession, three guys on cell phones. Two with them pressed to their ears, and a third holding his phone like a butlers platter between his mouth and the steering wheel. None of them really look like theyre paying attention to the stop-and-go traffic theyre in. I resolve to step over to the next driver I see with a phone and intimate that there may be police ahead in the construction zone, and a hands-free violation ticket is steep. Here comes someone. Hand to her ear. Not paying attention to the road. I will get her attention... Ooh wait. Thats not a cell phone... Those are scissors! She is CUTTING HER HAIR and checking the results in the rear view mirror.
