On my trip I meet some amazing people and saw some amazing sites. The one that really hit home was was the cemetery at Normandy Beach. After WWII my great grandfather never talk about his experience at Normandy and I know why. When we got to the cemetery I walked down the rows of graves and some of them did not even have names on them. While I walked down the rows I noticed Brandon one of the delegates crying in front of a grave. I did not say anything because I was crying over my great grandfather to. I could not imagine how gut wrenching it must have been for them to hear the speech given to them by General Eisenhower himself.
