On my way back from Worship service this Sunday afternoon, my truck began to blow smoke through the air conditioning vent. It looked as if it was GOING TO CATCH AFIRE. The air conditioning seemed to be on fire and the smell was terrible. Fortunate for us, one of the church officers – Mr. Green - was passing by and allowed mom to sit in his car out of the sun while I determined what to do. He then followed me back to the church where I asked Pastor Stanley Jones if he would be kind enough to allow mom – Mother Lucile Prince – to ride with him to Sumter. He and Mrs. Jones gladly said yes! They would follow me back to Sumter just in case my truck stopped or started to smoke again. I am glad to say that we all made it back home without further incident. Thank you once again Pastor Jones. Although I am going through one thing after another personally, financially and medically, I have enough sense to be grateful and keep looking up.
