On my way to Flipz Gymnastics tonight I witnessed a very scared German Shepard dog on the ramp to I-70. Many cars honked as they drove by - scaring the dog even more. A kind woman ran by my car with a leash to go help and I pulled over as well. Another guy in a truck stopped on the ramp also - and the dog was safely brought to the side of the road. As we were standing there figuring out what to do - another guy came running up to tell us he had just witnessed 3 guys in a dark green Jeep on highway 63 dump this poor dog on the side of the road - and speed off down the ramp onto I-70. His paw was split and he was bleeding really bad. He was shaking like crazy but his eyes were SO SWEET as he looked at each one of us. A woman who has fostered dogs with Second Chance in CoMo stopped - and last I know he was on his way to a safe place and to get checked out. 💛 I am not one to wish bad upon anyone - however - I really hope the people who dumped this sweet dog experience Karma in some way. Thank you to everyone who helped get this cold and scared dog to safety. I hope he or she finds a GREAT home. 💛
