On my way to SF today I stopped at a gas station to use the bathroom. As I turned around to flush I found an I phone on the floor behind the toilet. I contemplated what to do with it...leave it with the attendant or take it with me. I figured there was a 50/50 chance its owner was headed east and was unsure if the attendant would give the phone back, so I waited a while at the station for the owner then took the phone and headed on to SF. About 15 min later the phone rang so I answered it assuming it was the owner looking for it. It was. Unfortunately they were headed west for the weekend. They were very upset and rude that I had their phone and demanded I turn around on the interstate and meet them to return their phone. I couldnt since I was headed to a dr appt but I told them since they would be coming back thru Chamberlain on Monday after their trip to the Hills, they could just get it then. They said if I do not return the phone to the gas station today they will contact the police. Then they hung up on me.
