On occasion I will post an original if it is more obscure than the cover and this is one of those. Its actually a traditional song but this 1961 version is the one that became well known in the UK. This lead to most of the British Blues combos of the era including it in their live set lists. Eventually a few of them included covers on their early recordings. You might know this as Cats Squirrel from the debut albums from Cream, Jethro Tull, and Blodwyn Pig. They recorded it without vocals for a reason unknown to me.
