On one of my trips back to Cardiff I thought I would go to Cathays - TopicsExpress

On one of my trips back to Cardiff I thought I would go to Cathays Cemetery and Western Cemetery where a few of my ancestors and close family members were buried. I was surprised to find that at Cathays a lot of the older tomb stones had been removed so that the area could be used for reburial. I would say that most cemeteries including Elys Western Cemetery will come to that point somewhere in the future but the tombstones should have place somewhere. At a town in Western Australia called Southern Cross they have an area where tombstones of old are laid out just off the highway that are clearly visible. .........................................Photo of Southern Cross
