On one of the fruit loving tumblr groups I browse from time to time, a follower of the group asked the very good question of how does the person who runs the tumblr site get all of their fruit which is listed as the ONLY way to eat healthy when its so expensive because they are having a hard time affording such items themselves. The person who runs the site unfortunately gave a nastily flippant, elitist and condescending answer :( Its simultaneously sad and interesting to see how quickly defensive people can be when their body and fat shaming food morality is exposed as being more strongly tied to genetics and a hefty trust fund than it is to a genuine passion in their lives or making fruits and vegetables accessible to everyone who wants to eat that way...sigh.
