On race weekend more than 1,000 volunteers are needed to aid participants in the following areas: • Race registration • Distribution of shirts • Assist in a water, food or aid station • Finish line assistance MEDICAL VOLUNTEERS are needed for the 12 First Aid Stations on the course and also at the Finish Line Medical Area. Volunteers needed include: • Physicians • Physician Assistants • Nurse Practitioners • Nurses • EMTs and Paramedics • Respiratory Therapists • Massage Therapists All volunteers receive a FREE volunteer t-shirt, FREE entrance, food and beverage at one of the two post race parties, and the grateful thanks of the Marathon Committee and all participants!
