On taking pictures of yourself... I get so tired of people saying dont take my picture...I am too ______ (fill in the blank). Dont you know that no matter what stage you are in life and whether you are in shape (or not), have make up on (or not), you have loved ones that have unconditional regard for you and by you saying that, you are removing yourself from a memory they would like to document. I heard of a woman who did not allow pictures taken of herself during the last 20 years of her life. Her children didnt even recognize the woman in the pictures in the funeral home because she had been much heavier the last 20 years. They loved her just the way she was, but had no recognizable picture to hold on to. Be proud of who you are at EVERY stage of life... Even when I was at my heaviest, I enjoyed life...took pictures and I look back on them and smile.
