On the 11th, 12th and 13th July Mrs Shanthi Menon and a team of teachers attended the Think CIQ ( Creative Intelligences Quest) which aimed at exploring new methodologies to make learning better for children. As part of a panel discussion Mrs Menon has some interesting ideas for both parents and teacher to share. Do let us know your comments on the same 1. Alertness fosters imagination 2. When we tailor creativity ( as parents and teachers) it often kills creativity. 3. Give children an enriched environment ( at home and school) to have a stress free learning. 4. The school management supports teachers if they would like to extend a lesson to foster creativity. 5. Ask children for designs and solutions of problems around you to create problem solving and creativity at a young age. 6. Entrepreneurial skill needs to start as early as primary school. Please note these ideas were in response to some interesting lectures and questions posed to the panelists while they discussed Creativity, design, entrepreneurial skills etc...
