On the 18 August 2014 Amnesty International warned Nigerian army - TopicsExpress

On the 18 August 2014 Amnesty International warned Nigerian army to stop fighting Boko Haram or face trial in ICC. They used videos, Boko Haram compiled from their military activities against Minority Christians, living in the Northern. As a result, the Nigerian Army is divided along sectarian lines. Muslims soldiers who made up 80 % of Nigerian Arm-forces, supply military soft and hardwares to Boko Haram. The militants in the other hand have grown in confidence because of her International backers. That support has given Boko Haram a renewed impetus to take over many towns and cities in Nigeria. Last Tuesday the Sultan of Sokoto told newsmen that Boko Haram activity would come to an end in 100 days as soon as a Muslim takes over power in 2015 general election. This is a clear indication that Muslims are sponsoring Boko Haram. If the North are fed up with one Nigeria they should follow a democratic process and call for a referendum to leave the Union: because they have not contributed anything to the union. Since independence, the North has been ruling Nigeria and sharing its oil revenue among themselves in form of oil blocks. The Seven kingdoms of Igboland, where the oil is coming from are excluded from the sharing of the oil blocks. Sultan of Sokoto and Oni of Ife in support of Boko Haram crusade are now engaged in deportation of Igbos that escaped Boko Haram onslaught, to the East. While they extract our oil and share the revenue among themselves, they put their segregation policy into display. In Northern Nigeria, Igbo children pay school fees while their children go to school for free. If you are a Muslim from Sudan, Mali or Niger for example, your children will have automatic right to free education while Igbo children who are Nigerians don’t.
