On the 25th of October, 201, itll be 6 months since my last radiation treatment. Ill never forget that day I drove Lynn down to Laughlin in the car on Wednesday that week after my radiation that morning since we had lots of stuff to take down and we had paid for our lodging last year from Wednesday until Sunday for the annual river run. Since I had 2 more radiation treatments left, I drove back home later that day and went for my final sessions on Thursday & Friday. On Friday, I rode the Harley down to the Radiation Center and after a quick goodbye to their ever-so-friendly-and-helpful staff, I fired the Harley up and off I went for my 100+ mile solo run to meet up with Lynn. Needless to say, that was a rather thought provoking and self reflecting ride that morning, but the weather and the road conditions were simply perfect for such a ride. This video was put together by a friend and fellow cancer patient from Pennsylvania (Thomas Ashley) about his experience with radiation and like his previous video, this one he put together this past August is a fairly accurate representation of the whole process, from beginning to end.
