On the 27th of July this year, a perfect stranger touched my heart and brought me to feel what falling in love was like for the first time - (yes, Ive still got butterflies)! I know the biggest majority of you are thinking Calm down Sarah, its only been a few days! but I dont care because within these few days my feelings and emotions for this perfect stranger has increased in strength and will continue to do as each day passes. Never in my 19 years of life in this world did I ever believe Id find a soul-mate with whom I share quite a damn lot in common. Hes a drummer, Im a vocalist-lyricist/multi-instrumentalist, he plays at gigs, I book them. Hes a fussy eater, Im a woman that cooks! Despite feeling happy and content with events, Ive been feeling rather stressed lately (what with me currently going through my first ever business plan and cash forecast for my Events Management/Music PR Company Turn It Up! Media) and James, seriously, has been the only person yet to ever calm me down and keep me smiling which has helped prevent me from breaking down emotionally and giving up. Anyway - the point Im trying to make is - Im so grateful to you Dave & Pat for bringing this handsome, caring, loving, talented man into the world. Thank you for raising him with so much love and respect that he displays to everyone, not only me. Thank you both. I promise to love your son with every beat of my heart. I promise to appreciate, care and be there for him as often as I can and whenever he needs me. I promise to never act dishonest with regards to how I feel about him, nor shall I ever runaway should we ever argue, even its over the silliest little thing like whos turning the bedroom light off because a problem shared is a problem halved. I promise that one of these days, should I ever land with the privilege of meeting you face-to-face I will physically thank you in person for all youve done for him since birth with something special like a 3 course meal, bottle of bubbly for the women and beer for the lads!
