On the 28th December,2012,Nana Addo,Dr Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey filed a petition at the Supreme Court challenging the election of the PresidentJohn Dramani Mahama. The petition came after the later won the election with over 320000 valid votes with 72 days of effective and purposeful campaigning. Nana Addo had campaign for over 3yrs but still lost the election. On the 7th January,2013,he was sworn as the President of Ghana and Commander In Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces. For the next 8 months he had to fight to maintain the legitimacy of his mandate. For the whole of 2013,critical developing partners adopted a wait and see attitudes, investments needed to move the country forward were all stayed. That is how he started his 4 yrs mandate but in the midst of all these,he kept this country together with the support of the almighty God. About the same time,we witnesses several fires at various market centres, such fires destroying key parts of our economy. The period saw falling prices of cocoa and gold, key export commodities of the country. This resulted in massive fall in our forex reserves. We entered the year 2014 with renewed hope, unfortunately,we had to contend with the energy crisis with its effects on the economy. He kept the faith,he kept pushing. Then we started experiencing the fall in the value of the cedi,a situation that nearly destroy all the gains made in the economy. It has been a very challenging two years, but I see light at the end of the year. Within this challenging period,he has made some significant gains. Massive ongoing infrastructural projects across the country. Ghana Gas Project has seen near completion among others. The year 2015 is a turn around year. I thank all Ghanaians for the support and prayers,we can make Ghana better together. Ghana is all that we have,it is ours to make it better. Our President has his eyes firmly fixed on the PRIZE. We are a nation of brave and courageous people. I wish the President well. We must choose HOPE over cynicism.
