On the 5th March, we had been open for 2 years already! In some ways its flown by but looking back there have been so many memories and achievements in that time that it feels like an age. When I first planned to open the gym my goal was this: To create a gym where the best trainers and the most nervous new comers would feel comfortable side by side. Where incredible results for anyone would become a fundamental part of the gyms DNA, but to do this with an atmosphere where everyone feels like the can be confident to walk through the doors and have full support from everyone and where bad attitudes just were non existent A lot of people though it would be a meathead gym and I think all the members and the some in particular would argue that point a lot! I am very proud of what we have created and I would like to thank all the staff who have contributed. We have succeeded in creating exactly what we set out to do and you should all be really proud! In particular I want to say a huge thanks to Chris who has been with me from day one, took a leap from a stable job and has become as big a part of the gym as anything or anyone and to my dad who helped me make it all possible at the start and has opened at 6am every morning :) 2 years on and we have been extremely fortunate to attract investment from Paul Haigney. Its a rare opportunity to work with someone so successful who is so time giving and who has been so willing to sit down for hours with me on Sundays and other unsociable hours to answer all my questions, guide me in the right direction and show me how to do all the things that I didnt know how to do, in person. Because of this we are about to open a gym in Exeter! And PeakPerformance is taking a huge step up to the next level and 2014 is already proving to be our best year yet by a considerable margin.
