On the Clark Co. ballot. Re-newal of a current levy for health services. I support this issue. However, the county wants more money. This issue is an additional tax for the benefit of Clark County for the purpose of services provided by the Clark County Board of Developmental Disabilities at a rate not exceeding 1.75 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.175 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 8 years, commencing in 2013, first due in calendar year 2014. I do not support the additional levy. People just cant give them more money. The county needs to live with the money they have like the rest of us.
