On the FIFTH day of Christmas, my true Love gave to me, 5 CAMBODIAN CLUTCHES!!!!!! 4 Costa Wraps, 3 Medallion Scarves, 2 Soaps from Bangladesh and a Cereal Bead Bracelet from Haiti!!!! Cambodia! Women are vulnerable in so many places in this world, but in my time with Trades of Hope, I have determined that Cambodian women are some of the most vulnerable. There are practices in Cambodia and perspectives on women that make it very, very difficult. I have a purse full of Cambodia. My Diamond Ikat Wallet (now sold out) and Cambodian Clutch are both in full use! The Cambodian Clutch is made by our artisan group of women who have been acid attacked. This is such a horrific act and the senseless and devastating scarring runs beyond the surface. One artisan, Jariya, describes the acid as dissolving both her skin and [her] life. But like all Trades of Hope stories, this one is going to end well! Trades of Hope believes that these women are loved, valued, and have a voice that needs to be heard. Our in-country missionary has shared with us that Jariya and the acid attacked women now have a reason to get up in the morning and have purpose. They now know how to hope for more. Sustainable business for them, is not about money or poverty, but it is about hoping for a future that they once thought they had lost. I love my Cambodian Clutch. You will, too! Get one, Give one. Love on our artisans from Cambodia! Christmas Sale Ends at NOON!! mytradesofhope/parties/7189
