On the MRT, I was seated on a non-reserved seat, and an elderly woman sat down next to me while her 2 domestic helpers stood in front of us, one carrying a restless toddler who refused to sit down even when the granny asked her several times, and the other was holding on to the babys pram filled with shopping bags of groceries. Another woman asked me to give my seat to the helper carrying the baby. So I told her politely that obviously they didnt need the seat, otherwise the baby would and should have been in the pram then. I gave my seat to another elderly woman nearby instead.
