On the afternoon of Monday 25 August, the President of Sierra Leone visited Emergencys hospital. We told him that the closure of the childrens hospital and the operating rooms in the general hospital was having serious effects on our establishment. We did not have to explain much: he was able to see the overflowing wards for himself, as well as the guest housing that has been converted into a ward in order to treat as many children as possible. In the meantime, we have also put another child into isolation. His name is Ibrahim and he is 9 years old.We are waiting for the results of the Ebola test with our fingers crossed.
