On the digital farmer forum we had a discussion on citrus diseases. So I promised to post some useful info. Here we go: The most devastating is greening because it cant be treated. Once your citrus trees show symptoms you have to uproot the tree immediately and burn it to avoid spreading of the disease. So regular scouting for diseased trees is the first step to keep your plantation greening free. But then you need to know the symptoms of greening, which is a kind of mottled, blotchy yellowing of the leaves. Now this is difficult to differentiate from a number of nutrient deficiencies. Therefore it is important to have your soil tested regularly to know that you are on the safe side fertility management wise. You dont want to uproot your plantation just because your soil has a zinc deficiency :-) Especially micronutrient deficiencies are often connected to low pH, so the cure could simply be to lime your soil and to apply good amounts of compost. But this can only be known after a soil test and an accurate advice. Just do give you an idea I will post a number of pictures for you to compare the different symptoms.
