On the feast of the Kazan Icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary, November 4, 2014, Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna visited the Holy Assumption Cathedral in Tashkent. Divine Liturgy was served by Metropolitan of Tashkent and Uzbekistanskiy Vincent along with Bishop Isilkulskom and Russian-Polyansky Theodosius, Bishop Pitirim Dushanbe and Tajik, and the clergy of the Holy Dormition Cathedral and the deanery clergy Tashkent. November 6, 2014, the day honoring Mother of God Joy of All Who Sorrow, Metropolitan of Tashkent and Uzbekistanskiy Vincent, head of the Central Asian Metropolitan District, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of Job-suffering city of Urgench in Khorezm region of Uzbekistan. After the service, a tour of the sights of the city of Khiva, having the status of open-air museum and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The visit of the Central Asian metropolitan district in the Khorezm region ended November 7 after the evening service at the Cathedral of Job-suffering.
