On the fifth day of Christmas, OCPBR rescues, Princess & Brewsky would like to remind us to care for one another. Princess & Brewsky were rescued from terrible neglect and a life of no comfort, no solace, and no affection. Often, they didnt even have food, let alone shelter or love. Coming from a complete lack of care, it would be easy to imagine that they would be unsocial, misbehaving, or worse. Nothing could be further from the truth. In transitioning to living a life of comfort, indoors in a warm, loving environment for the first time with their fosters, they adjusted beautifully, seamlessly. Respecting their new indoor environment: perfect marks. Getting along with the other dogs in the house: perfect. Getting along with the cats: perfect! Its just amazing to us to see how these two could overcome such dire circumstances and be so easy going and, well just good dogs. Theres only one possible explanation: Princess & Brewsky taught each other how to love! What else could it be, besides that they are simply a testament to the incredible resilience of dogs? Their example shows the inner emotional depth of the canine character. With only each other to rely on, they learned how to care for another, how to give each other solace, and how to comfort each other. Its a beautiful lesson for the season. Hold tightly to your loved ones, care for one another, be good to each other. Embrace what this adorable duo have learned and what they have to share with us.
