On the first Monday of September, we honor the workers who built the world’s strongest economy and while on this Labor Day, the current recession has left hundreds of Virgin Islanders and countless of their fellow Americans unemployed or underemployed and curtailed the ability of the average man and woman to find meaningful work, we remain a resilient people and with all of us working together and the many initiatives in place, we can and will get through this with an even stronger and more resilient economy.
