..On the hill of Calvary youll find an exchange, with a long wire running from heaven to earth, If you want to speak to your father above, just go there and ring number 9... Today I went to that hill called Calvary...as the good old song said, I found an exchange (read: phone) and I dialed/texted/twitted/whatsapped... number 9! I wanted to speak/chat with my father above, to thank him for the 40 fantastic years I have lived! I also called my mama, to thank her for bringing me to this earth. All she kept screaming was..woi lakwenyu! and the joy of knowing we both were celebrating this day was as clear as morning dew! I had a chat with my daddy, who reassured me of his love, and I thank him for being part of this awesome process that brought me to this earth. And to you my Spouse Araap Korir, loving you is a celebration of life! To my dear children (of my own making and those I have come to call my own) My life revolves around you all. I love you big time! My brothers and sisters, my support system, I love you all so much. Friends and family....my existence is of no meaning without each one of you. Thank you all for sharing this special day with me. My big 40!! And to end my Calvary conversation: I Thank you Lord for this far I have come. Lead me to greater heights. Amen, Amen and Amen!
