On the hit TV show friends Lisa Kudrow played Phoebe, After giving birth to triplets, no mention was ever made as to what religion the children would be. Such is not the case in Kudrow’s real life, traditionally the age of thirteen is the age for a boy’s “rite of passge” into manhood with the religious ceremony bar mitzvah. So after missing the opportunity to bar mitzvah her son when he was 13 she wouldn’t miss the opportunity to have the ceremony performed, even though he is now 16.
