On the ice break truck yesterday. The Quantum company general manager just rang me. He has acknowledged that it unacceptable under any circumstances to use these spaces without a permit even just a little bit, regardless of loading zone availability. Both drivers have been given final warnings and will not use them again. The message will be given to all drivers that it is unacceptable and could lead to dismissal if this continues at any location as it is against company policy. The manager acknowledged that these are vital spaces for permit holders. The manager also apologised for the whole incident. The matter has been dealt with with the manager and now look forward to not seeing their trucks there again. :-)
