On the left, wearing the hat is Rick Torres who is going over his lines - he jumped in to do the part less 10 hours before the call-time the next day. Rick was the guitarist for the band The English Beat. Up in the tree is Jacob Charlot, who held that diffuser for hours up there. He is the most ripped muscled guy I know and a martial artist. Behind the camera is Kyle Wright who is a film photography genius. He is the director of photography. Next to him is another photography genius, Pheren, who is the art director. She does photo shoots of rock stars for big magazines like Rolling Stone and has been art director for a few music videos for Sony. Those two, together (Pheren and Kyle), make stunning motion picture images. The actress is Julie Dolan. I put out a call for someone who could do very quick changes of vast array of emotions and she answered. Total brilliance. Blown away. She is also a keyboardist and (get this for nerdgasmic) the voice of Princess Leia, chosen out of thousands of others by George Lucas himself for the new Star Tours ride at Disneyland. I found that out while doing the voice session with Julie - she did a line that sounded exactly like Leia. It was funny. I think I have a recording of her saying "Help me Obi-wan." :-) The new music video is a sci-fi goodness, authored in a style inspired by the writing of Moffat and Whedon. It is nearly done. I hope you like it.
