On the purple and burgundy cows - the burgundy is the least common - I posted on Brians blog but was apparently deleted - many years ago there was a gal in northern Calif who found several of the burgundy ones mint in boxes and was selling them at $500 each (of course the market was high then? At the time she claimed only 100 or 150 of them were ever produced - I was asking on the previous post if anyone had information on that - I had looked to replace the purple cow I gave my daughter in law several years ago, with all my Shawnee that was her favorite jar - earlier this year I bought what I thought was a purple cow only to receive the burgundy and then weeks later found the purple one - so thrilled to have both. Often on Ebay the true colors dont come through - Brians post really showed how different they are - the white/ yellow collar and yellow butterfly are the most obvious!
