Whats more: It turns out that even in red states, support for federal curbs on greenhouse gas emissions is almost as widespread as among Americans overall. Unfortunately, republican lawmakers dont listen to their constituency. Look at gun control popular opinion and the lawmakers. Look at the popular opinion on raising the minimum wage and the reticence of republican lawmakers.
