On the tenth day of Christmas, Frankie, now Koa, is home for the holidays!! Woo hoo! We are so happy to report that Koa (formerly Frankie) has been adopted by a wonderful family who take him pretty much everywhere with them! Koa will get to know a life of fun with frequent trips with trail hiking, beachside fun, and a life full of social interaction with people and dogs alike. This is one lucky pup. We all fell in love with this beautiful boy for his calm (bordering on lazy) ways and his affectionate, sweet manner. He is a big time cuddler! His family plans to go through basic training, and then continue on to make Koa a therapy dog! Were all super excited about this because we always felt he would be wonderful at it. Koas family is warm and loving, and we couldnt imagine a more perfect home for him. Please help us congratulate the family on their newest member and thank them for rescuing such a deserving boy. Koa was rescued with his litter mates from a high kill shelter where they were quickly running out of time. A number of fosters (both temporary and long-term) stepped up to keep them alive.
