On the train to that there London and found that someone was sat in my reserved seat and chatting to her friend opposite. Me: Hi, I think thats my seat. Sorry. She looks at her friend who rolls her eyes. Woman 1 (in my seat): Right. She stands up and starts to move her things whilst huffing and puffing. Her friend shakes her head, as if Ive just asked a pregnant woman to get off her arse. Eventually were all sat down and the 2 women start talking to each other as if Im not here. Woman 2: (to her displaced friend) Are you ok? I dont know why they even bother with reserved seats when theres spare ones. Then someone asks her to move her coat so he can sit in the seat next to her. Woman 2: Im sorry, but I cant put my coat in the luggage rack because its expensive and Im worried about it getting ripped. Theres some empty seats down there. The look on his face was priceless. This should be a fun journey!
